Weather

Not good. Started off with cloud at the top of the mountain. Rapidly turned to rain at the lower elevations and wet snow at the Summit. Cleared up by late morning but by that time the snow had become pretty heavy.

Overall

Walter Stahlecker decided not to ski. Having survived the skiing, he hurt his back tying up his shoelaces.

So Steve, Allen and I headed back to Northstar.

Allen and I skied for most of the morning and joined up with Steve later in the day. Both Allen ans Steve learned fast. Allen certainly showed a willingness to try things right at the limit of his ability and was not afraid to fall.
